Emmi Diaz, BA of Arts

I'm in my mid-20's and I'm extremely motivated to achieve much in the game industry. I was probably five years old when I got a video game controller in my hand and began with my life. Starting that day I have had great time playing all kind of games with my family and friends.

Anyhow, I was about 14 years old when I realized I could have my career in the video game industry. Since then I have aimed there.

I have always liked to design all kind of things. Clothes, plates, furniture, vehicles, album covers, etc. In video games whole new worlds are designed and experienced. That, I think, is the main reason why I'm so passionate about games. Playing and making.

In 2011 I started at The University of Lapland. Three years later I got my degree of Bachelor of Arts. My program - Audiovisual Mediaculture -  included motion picture, sound, reasearch in media, and multimedia, which I highlighted in my studies.

I'm most into game design. Graphics, testing, sounds, and programming are all very interesting as well. It's like I want to know much from everything so that I can get a really good hold on to the whole project. I'm a highly creative person - I can sketch, solve problems, come up with ideas and designs, execute my ideas and designs by sketching, drawing, painting, and writing. I am continuously self-learning more. At the moment I'm studying 3D-modeling.

So, have a nice time browsing my portfolio and don't hesitate to contact me.
